Human Relations Awareness Returns

Central Community College is bringing back one of its most popular courses for 2022-23.
Human Relations Awareness is an online course that fulfills a necessary requirement for those seeking a local substitute teaching certificate. Concepts covered include a brief history of our pluralistic society, learning about bias, considering the impact of human relations on the student experience, and fostering a sensitive learning environment. The two-week, self-paced course will be taught during the following dates:
Fall 2022
- Aug. 17-31
- Sept. 14-28
- Oct. 12-26
- Nov. 9-23
- Nov. 30-Dec. 14
Spring 2023
- Jan. 11-25
- Feb. 8-22
- March 8-22
- April 12-26
The cost is $110, which includes fees.
“We have received an outpouring of positive response for our Human Relations Awareness course and are excited to announce our fall 2022 and spring 2023 offerings,” said Abie Ott, director of educational planning. “Central Community College is proud to provide this learning opportunity in support of Nebraska educators and school communities.”
