Face Covering Requirement Altered

May 24, 2021

From: CCC President Dr. Matt Gotschall
To: CCC students, faculty and staff

Central Community College has altered its face covering requirement at all locations, effective Monday, May 24. The face covering requirement in all CCC buildings and vehicles has been changed to recommended status.

The change was made due to declines in community spread, COVID exposures and increased successful vaccinations of employees and availability to students. CCC will continue to monitor cases, including reporting of employees and students with exposures or illness, quarantines as needed. The college will continue to promote vaccinations, social distancing as possible, extra cleaning, physical barriers, making masks/face coverings available, etc.

Face coverings may still be required in some courses due to program competency requirements (i.e. allied health programs) and when approved by the appropriate division vice president.

Thank you,

Dr. Matt Gotschall
CCC President
