Letter to Registered Students

August 12, 2020

Dear CCC Student,

We hope you had an enjoyable summer and are staying healthy and well during these uncertain times. We want to assure you that CCC continues to make your safety and well-being a top priority, particularly as we prepare to welcome you back (in person) at our campuses and centers!  With this goal in mind, we have implemented various measures to provide you with the support you need for a safe learning environment.

Beginning on August 1, all Central Community College faculty, staff, students, and visitors will be required to wear a face covering when inside any of CCC’s campus buildings or center spaces owned or leased by CCC.  This includes, but is not limited to, common areas, classrooms, restrooms, breakrooms, and hallways.  We have some disposable masks available; however, we encourage all students to provide their own face coverings and to regularly clean them.

Throughout the coming fall semester, we want to ensure that we can offer the support and assistance you need, even if you were to become ill or be exposed to the Coronavirus. The information that follows is a way that we can work together to accomplish that goal.

For information on COVID-19 symptoms, how to care for yourself and others, and how to prevent transmission, please visit CDC Symptoms of Coronavirus

For information about COVID-19 testing, go to www.testnebraska.com

Are you in any of these situations?

  • You are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
  • You have been tested because you are believed to have been exposed.
  • You have tested positive for the virus.
