Career Pathways
Explore career fields while in high school
Career Pathways are partnerships between your high school and the college that provide juniors and seniors the opportunity to explore career fields in greater depth and precision while still in high school. CCC has designed 13 Career Pathways to prepare you for high-skilled careers in high demand.
You are engaged in areas of interest and college-level coursework. These programs provide flexibility for you to earn college credit while attending high school. You may receive both high school and college credit when taking program courses. CCC credits will apply toward a certificate, a diploma, and an associate degree.

Career Pathways may be offered at your high school as a partial or full program to prepare you for high-skill careers. In some cases, students may travel to a CCC campus or center or an off-site location for instruction.
What will this cost me?
CCC offers Early College students affordable tuition rates. Students may have access to scholarships or other funding sources. Check with your school counselor or administrator regarding tuition assistance. Students may be responsible for tuition and textbooks.
How will I benefit?
Students may receive both high school and college credit when taking program courses, saving you time and money. Career Pathways provides students with the advantages of learning about career fields in greater depth and precision and introducing students to higher-level coursework that promotes responsibility and creates opportunities and develops skills necessary for future success.
Transition Advantage Scholarship
Students who have completed 12 credit hours from CCC while in high school will receive an honor cord and be eligible to apply for a CCC Transition Advantage Scholarship. This tuition scholarship will fund up to 12 credit hours, split over two semesters for full-time students enrolling at CCC within 12 months after graduating from high school.

How do I register?
Students will complete an Early College registration form before enrolling in college courses. These forms will be provided by a CCC representative or school counselor. Registered courses will appear on your college transcript. CCC maintains transfer agreements with a number of colleges and has formal transfer agreements with several institutions.
